PAW PAD FOSTERING - Branding Project

Branding & Identity - PAW PAW FOSTERING
objective For this project, the objective was to design an identity and branding strategy for a cause/project of our choosing, that would address a current social issue that reflected a passion or interest of ours. The design needed to demonstrate the idea in a clear, compelling, and accessible way.

solution For my brand, I came up with a company called Paw Pad Fostering. The story behind the name comes from the bottom of an animal’s foot, a paw pad, but “pad” is also a synonym for “home.” This play on words also directed how the logo looked. I designed the logo to be a paw print,  but adjusted the inside of the paw, giving the entire logo a house-like look too. The goal of the company was to help connect people to foster pets at local shelters, to help them become adoptable. The final product included a stationery system which had a letterhead, envelope, and business card for the brand, along with an app interface, direct mail, and merchandise, like a pet collar and bandana, shirts, and mugs.
